Common questions
Do I need a paid plan to use the extension?
No. The Free plan includes core underwriting — rental cash flow, cap rate, flip analysis (70% rule),
and price history. You only need Pro for BRRRR scoring, deal grading, deal pipeline, Excel export,
AI deal review, and AI ARV.
What counts as an "AI call"?
One AI call is one request to our AI backend — either an AI-blended ARV estimate, or a full
buy/negotiate/pass AI deal review. Repeated loads of the same listing within the same day count as one call.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is effectively an unlimited trial of the core product. Paid tiers include a 7-day refund
window — if you're not happy, email us and we'll refund you, no questions asked.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes. Switch anytime from the extension settings. If you switch from monthly to annual you'll save 20%.
Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Do I need to provide my own OpenAI / AI API key?
No. AI calls on paid plans are proxied through our server — no API key setup required.
Does it work on Redfin or Realtor.com?
Yes. Deal Snap REI works on Zillow and Redfin listings today, and pulls ARV estimates from Zillow,
Redfin, and Realtor.com (blended). Support for additional listing sites is on the roadmap.
Is my data private?
Yes. All assumptions and pipeline data are stored locally via Chrome sync storage. AI requests send
only the minimum listing data required to generate the estimate — no account identifiers, no
cross-user data sharing.
